Very fine impression printed with surface tone on laid watermarked (JGZ) paper.
Paper slightly yellowed; a few minor thin spots. Generally in very fine condition. Wide margins (sheet: 538 x 360 mm).
Summer was etched by Tissot after his painting, which bears the same name; this painting was sold by Christie's on June 7, 2007 (lot no. 38). The sitter is Kathleen Newton, his principal model and partner.
